I arrived at work this morning  to meet with the Boss. I then was informed that after 16+ years I was laid off.  I have to admit at first I was doing a happy dance I’m FREE!  To do whatever I want and then some! But I soon realized that the very people that I worked with and admired met in a room or WebEx somewhere and decided I was no longer of value to the company and was no longer needed. At that point a Mayday call went out as I tailspinned in flames, crashed and burned trapped below the decks of a sinking ship only to again jump into a happy dance I’m FREE! However this is just day one..what will day two bring?
